Ravi Bhardwaj, Managing Partner
Ravi Bhardwaj is the founder of EduLegaL and Managing Partner of RSB LegaL, with over two decades of experience in litigation and arbitration. He is a trusted counsel to universities, colleges, schools, trusts, societies and edtech ventures, advising on incorporation and governance, UGC and AICTE compliance, policy formulation, and disputes before courts and tribunals.
He also guides education startups, entrepreneurs and incubators, and is a mentor and advisor on innovation incubation, with a particular commitment to education and entrepreneurship in Bihar. His practice is holistic, covering contract management, intellectual property, employee litigation and data protection for educational institutions.
Amarjit Prasad, Principal Associate
Amarjit Prasad has over 10 years of experience in litigation and non litigation matters, with a substantial part of his practice devoted to educational institutions. He has appeared before the Supreme Court, various High Courts, District Courts, the University Tribunal, the School Tribunal, the Debt Recovery Tribunal, consumer forums, the Labour Court and the Charity Commissioner, among others.
He was part of the team that conducted a legal audit for an educational institute, is associated with several educational institutes in Pune, and handles Trust and Society matters of educational institutions. A qualified Company Secretary and Trademark Agent, he is well placed to advise on institutional governance and brand protection.
Prashant Changediya, Principal Associate
Prashant Changediya is a seasoned lawyer who advises educational institutions on the land and property side of their growth. He specialises in conveyancing, land acquisition and contract drafting, and holds a law degree from Pune University and a diploma in International Commercial Arbitration.
His notable work includes overseeing the acquisition of over 100 acres of land for a prestigious university in Pune, enabling the expansion of its campus, and being part of the team that conducted a 150 crore arbitration for a prestigious university.
Amruta Pendharkar, Senior Associate
Amruta Pendharkar graduated in law in 2017 and holds an LLM in Corporate and Financial Laws from Jindal Global University, Sonepat. She handles litigation and non litigation matters and regularly advises on matters of educational institutions, trusts and societies.
She has assisted in litigation relating to educational institutions, conducted a webinar on the Maharashtra Employees of Private Schools (Conditions of Service) Regulation Act, 1977, and a seminar on awareness of sexual harassment under the UGC Regulations.
Sumesh J Antony, Advisor
Sumesh J Antony is an alumnus of Symbiosis Law School, Pune and IIM Bengaluru, and a postgraduate in law specialising in Alternative Dispute Resolution. He has spent two decades in legal affairs, compliance, dispute resolution and negotiations at senior levels, and brings this experience to the resolution of disputes through mediation and arbitration.
He is an enrolled advocate with the Bar Council of Kerala, an APCAM and IIAM accredited mediator and arbitrator, an empanelled mediator and conciliator with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (Southern Region, Chennai), and Advisor, Dispute Resolution, at Startup LegaL, Pune.
