SPPU Signs MOU With Sadhguru Group, Introduces Spoken Sanskrit Course

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sadhguru Group and announced the introduction of a Spoken Sanskrit course at the University soon. The course will be available in both online and offline modes.
SPPU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Nitin Karmalkar speaking on the occasion said, “While we have full-time Sanskrit courses, not everyone can enroll themselves to full-time Sanskrit studies owing to their work commitments. Taking this into consideration, we are commencing with this certificate course. This will help in increasing the use of conversational Sanskrit.”
The certificate course is of 30 hours with a student-intake of 50 for each batch. Additional details can be perused on the university website.
